Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience with Information technology.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using tools/technologies across multiple areas, including: Project Management – JIRA, IBM RTC, Rally, Team Forge
Code Management – SVN, GIT, CVS, Stash, ClearCase
Build – Maven, Nexus, Ant, Makefile
Code Quality – SonarQube, Crucible, JUnit, PMD, Checkstyle
Continuous Integration – Jenkins, CruiseControl, Bamboo
Continuous Deployment – uDeploy, Liquibase, Chef, Puppet, Automic ARA, CA Release Automation
Automated Testing – HP QTP, Selenium, JMeter, SOAPUI
Operating Systems – Unix OS, Linux OS, Windows
Scripting – Shell scripting, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python
Predictive Monitoring – Splunk, Nagios
End-to-end deployment on Webservers and Appservers (Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Jetty, Geronimo)
At least 2 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Development and Implementation of CI/CD, Release Management, DevOps, Agile Project Tracking tools, Source Code Management, Test Management, Configuration Management, Build, Deployment and Test Automation Tools.
At least 1 year of experience performing AS-IS analysis of SDLC processes, identifying gaps, estimating and defining a roadmap to implement a DevOps solution.
At least 4 years of experience in software project lifecycle activities on development and maintenance projects using Java/J2EE technologies.
At least 1 year of experience in design and architecture reviews.
Experience in writing scripts to build and deploy to server-side environments and to automate logging of builds.
Experience in managing release processes, application health checks, and production metrics tracking.
Ability to drive an independent project/module from an execution standpoint.
Experience in migration of SDLC tools from current to futuristic tool stacks.
Ability to work in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment and to partner with global delivery teams.
Good troubleshooting, analytical and client interfacing skills; ability to work in a global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
