Job description
AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking BC/BC Hematologist-Oncologist to join and help expand our established cancer program in beautiful Rome, Georgia, conveniently located between Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Birmingham. This is more than a traditional practice opportunity. It is a chance to help shape the future of oncology services for a growing region while enjoying the support, stability, and resources of one of the nation's largest faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare systems.
Highlights Include:
Opportunity to help lead the growth of a developing regional oncology program
Established practice support with 1 physician and 3 experienced APPs
Brand-new cancer clinic with onsite infusion services
Immediate access to a strong referral base across a growing multi-hospital system
Robust multidisciplinary support including nurse navigators, oncology pharmacy, social work, nutrition services, chaplain support, and tumor boards
Access to clinical trials, research resources, and system-wide oncology expertise

Qualifications
Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and or Medical Oncology
Fellowship trained in Hematology-Oncology
Candidates with experience building or growing oncology programs are highly desirable
Commitment to patient-centered, team-based cancer care
