Building Aide/Health AideLocation: Center Line Public SchoolsSalary: $13.73/hourly. In accordance with the AFSCME Local 3154 Master AgreementReports To: Classroom Teacher/Immediate SupervisorMultiple Vacancies In Different BuildingsQualifications:High School DiplomaAble to physically perform the essential functions of the position (examples, sitting on the floor, assisting children off the floor or out of seats, other lifting, bending and reaching.Demonstrated ability to operate with professionalism, confidentiality, respect and courtesy.Hours Per Day: 5.75 hours per dayClassification: VIILength Of Work Year: 192 days (includes 11 paid holidays) - works student calendarDescription:Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, teachers, and the communityDemonstrate comprehension and organization abilityWork with children with special needs including physical assistance in movement and toileting. (District will provide training prior to assisting)Assist in student testing.Administer medications.
