Building Engineer - Data Center (BMS & Power Systems) Holtsville, Long Island, New York (Commutable from: Shirly, Stony Brook, Melville, Riverhead)

$160,000 - $200,000 + Bonus + Incentive Compensation + Technical Progression + 3 Weeks Vacation + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Data Center Engineer, Critical Facilities Engineer or Building Systems Engineer with strong experience in BMS and electrical power infrastructure?

This company continues to invest in its data center facilities and is looking for a hands-on engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and improve its building management and power systems.

In this role, you will work across BMS, electrical distribution, UPS, generators and associated critical infrastructure, supporting system upgrades, maintenance and engineering improvement projects.

In this role you will:

Maintain, troubleshoot and improve BMS and electrical power systems

Work with UPS, generators, switchgear, ATS and electrical distribution infrastructure

Support equipment installations, upgrades and preventative maintenance

Diagnose faults and improve system performance, reliability and efficiency

Participate in a rotational on-call schedule

To apply for this role you must be:

Data Center Engineer, Critical Facilities Engineer, Building Systems Engineer or similar

Experienced with BMS and critical electrical power infrastructure

Strong hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

Comfortable taking ownership of technical improvements and engineering projects
