Job description
Maintenance PositionThis position is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, and landscaping tasks, while maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Duties include, but not limited to:Collect and dispose of trash; empty trash receptacles; mow and maintain grass areas; rake leaves; and perform routine maintenance on mowers and other lawn equipment.Perform landscaping duties, including trimming hedges, maintaining shrubbery, planting flowers, and trimming trees.Remove snow from sidewalks, apply salt as needed, perform general maintenance on grounds equipment, and safely operate basic yard tools and lawn equipment.Perform painting duties at elevated heights using ladders and lifts, and complete other duties as assigned.Clean the Feed Mill and assist with routine maintenance tasks as needed.Other duties assigned by managerRequirements:6 months prior maintenance/refrigeration experienceHigh School diploma or GEDRelocation Assistance Eligible: NoWork Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
