Work Here!Assist with general repairs within the facility including, basic electrical, plumbing, preventative maintenance, assembling and moving furniture as needed.Repairs HVAC and electrical equipment as required.Makes necessary repairs to building facilities.Installs and repairs electrical wiring as needed.Maintains routine check on general conditions of all buildings.Assists in the preventative maintenance of all systems.Trains and/or assists other employees with their duties.Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.Minimum job requirements:High school diploma/GED.3 years job related experience.Basic working knowledge of plumbing and carpentry; specific knowledge of commercial electrical and HVAC systems. License preferred.Good verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.Starting salary range: $20.71 - $25.89 hourly based on qualificationsClosing date: Upon filling 2 positionsAll full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
