Building Maintenance WorkerKeep our agency building functional, presentable and in great working order by being our Building Maintenance Worker! Do you enjoy and take pride in troubleshooting and fixing structures? Join our team as a Building Maintenance Worker and create real change! By using your skills and hands-on talent, this role lets you work your magic to make the building fantastic.• Make it Shine: Clean, dust, and polish the building floors, walls, windows etc.• Show off your Style: Manage and maintain the landscaping and keep our employees and clients safe.• Keep your eye on the Prize: Perform routine maintenance and work with Supervisors to schedule larger scope repairs.• Support your Agency Family: Set up, move and take down equipment for programs, meetings and special events.Skills to Wow Us:• A knack for understanding various maintenance situations, construction plans and building codes.• Stellar communication skills - you can chat with agency staff, contractors, and community members like a pro.• Tech-savvy enough to handle basic computer tasks with ease.• Great at juggling priorities, meeting deadlines and keeping the details organized.• The ability to oversee projects and ensure specifications are met and projects are completed.Education and Experience:• High School Diploma or GED• One (1) - Three (3) years of maintenance experience OR a mix of education and experience that fits the bill.• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.What's in it for you?• Salary range of $17.45 - $26.55/hour - plus benefits!• Full-time (40 hours per week), 12-Month Position• Opportunities to grow, learn, & make a lasting impact!Benefits:The Agency's Benefits Plan allows employees to choose, among a number of benefit options including, but not necessarily limited to, PTO, 12 paid holidays each year, medical (health) insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, Earned Sick & Safe Time (ESST), hospital indemnity insurance, basic and voluntary life insurance, HSA/FSA (medical & dependent care), Proximal Health, Cancercare, 401k retirement plan, Wellness program and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
