Now Hiring – Building OfficialThe City of Kingsland, Georgia is seeking a qualified and experienced Building Official to oversee the City's building inspection and permitting functions and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, ordinances, and regulations.The Building Official will review plans and permits, conduct or oversee building inspections, work with contractors, property owners, and design professionals, and provide professional guidance regarding construction requirements and code compliance.Qualifications:Experience in building inspection, construction, code enforcement, or a related field.Knowledge of applicable International and Georgia construction codes and permitting requirements.Appropriate state certifications required for the position, or the ability to obtain them within a reasonable period.Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.The City of Kingsland offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications and experience.
