Elementary School Enrichment Program AssistantAssignment: When school year recreation and enrichment programs are in session at Minnewashta Elementary from 3-3:45pm. This position reports to the Enrichment Program Manager. Starting Pay Rate: starting at $18.54. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.Job Qualifications:Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work directionEvidence of outgoing, friendly personalityStrong ability to work independently with little supervisionEvidence of ability to maintain professionalism and confidentialityJob Duties:Take attendance of all students in enrichment and recreation classes and work with the front office to locate any absent studentsEnsure vendors/instructors are on time and ready for class when students are releasedMeets, greets and provides information and directions to persons in buildings so that people arrive at the scheduled locationEnsures quality customer service for our user groups and proper use of spaceResponds to any emergencies that may arise (weather incidents, fire, intruder, etc) and follow up with appropriate building leadership communicationAssists with technology use if neededAssists with class lists, handouts, and other necessary materials to instructorsMaintains a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the publicAll other duties as assigned including activity preparation
