Job description
School Bus MonitorThe Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District is seeking a reliable and responsible School Bus Monitor to help ensure the safety and well-being of students while traveling to and from school. Responsibilities include: supervise students while riding the school bus, assist students with safely entering and exiting the bus, help maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment, support students who may require additional assistance during transportation, communicate appropriately with the bus driver, school staff, and transportation personnel regarding student needs or concerns.Qualifications: dependable, punctual, and committed to student safety. Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and needs. Ability to follow District safety procedures and staff directives. Prior experience working with children is preferred.Schedule: Part-time; morning and/or afternoon bus routes on school days. Start Date: as soon as possible
