Job description
Job TitleUnder close supervision, monitor the conduct of students between pick-up points and school, maintain order, and adhere to safety rules and aide with transportation of students with special needs.Qualifications:Skill in working with students with special needs.Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and school system policies and procedures.Ability to gain respect and cooperation of students, parents, administrative officials and others; to maintain discipline; to attend training in the procedures of working with students with special needs.Reports To: Director of Transportation and Bus DriverSupervises: Helps supervise students on the busTerms Of Employment: 174 days on contractWork Environment: School BusPhysical Requirements: This position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting.Evaluation: In accordance with Board Policy and appropriate procedural regulations. The Superintendent or designee will be responsible for completing the evaluation.Salary Range: Is based on the EPS Support Negotiated Contract Scale.Benefits: In accordance with EPS Support Negotiated Contract.
