METROPOLITAN SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PIKE TOWNSHIPBus MonitorTo provide support to the bus driver and students on bus route.Ability to pass DOT physical fitness assessment.Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.Assists students with disabilities in getting on and off the bus and in maintaining a safe environment while on the bus.Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.Reports behavioral or disciplinary problems according to discipline plan in Transportation Operations handbook.Operates and checks the wheelchair lift daily.Ensures all students have exited the bus at conclusion of route.Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Director of Transportation or his/her designee may assign.
