nThe starting pay for this position is $24.00 no experience - $25.50 with experience; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. nA Day in Life:

nnnWork performed at customer location designated tire shop, alongside customers mechanics with a focus on ensuring that tires are reliable and safe

n

nnCollaborate with assigned administrators and customer staff to accurately document work performed

n

nnMaintain customer tire inventory from cradle to grave and everything in between by utilizing best inventory management practices

n

nnMonitor tire maintenance through periodic tire inspections, utilizing specialized software and a combination of electronic digital devices

n

nnMaintain and repair all customer tires according to industry standards

n

nnPerform dynamic tire balancing, tire and wheel assembly changes, regrooving, inflation maintenance, utilizing best in class tire related machinery

n

nnMaintain shop safety and cleanness through good housing practices

n

n nWhat do we hope for?

nnnHigh School or GED preferred

n

nnPrevious commercial tire experience

n

nnAbility to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

n

nnCommitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner

n

nnMechanical aptitude as well as strong oral and written communication ability

n

nnA self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions
