Job description
Paysign is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to bridge business stakeholders and the engineering, data, and DevOps teams delivering our payment processing and healthcare platforms. This role gathers and documents requirements, coordinates project delivery, tracks timelines and dependencies, and keeps stakeholders and clients informed. It also helps organize the evidence and change-management artifacts required in a Cardholder Data Environment (CDE) governed by PCI-DSS and SOC 2. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and is comfortable translating between business needs and technical teams.

Key Responsibility Areas
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from internal stakeholders and clients
Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and specifications for engineering and data teams
Identify gaps, dependencies, and impacts across systems, and help define scope and priorities
Support backlog grooming and ensure requirements are testable and traceable through delivery
Project Coordination & Delivery Tracking
Coordinate project and sprint activities across engineering, data, DevOps, and QA teams
Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependency/risk tracking; flag blockers early
Administer and maintain work in Jira (boards, epics, stories, workflows) and keep status current
Schedule and facilitate standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives; capture and follow up on action items
Stakeholder & Client Communication
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams
Communicate status, timelines, risks, and change impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Coordinate client-facing requirements, onboarding, and change requests with the relevant internal teams
Documentation
Produce and maintain specifications, process/workflow diagrams, runbooks, and project documentation
Maintain a single source of truth in Confluence (or equivalent) for requirements, decisions, and delivery status
Document acceptance criteria and support UAT coordination and sign-off
Compliance & Audit Coordination
Help organize PCI-DSS and SOC 2 evidence, control documentation, and change-management records
Track change approvals and ensure delivery follows CDE change-management and separation-of-duties processes
Coordinate audit and assessment activities by gathering artifacts and scheduling stakeholder input
Reporting & Metrics
Produce status reports, delivery dashboards, and KPIs for leadership and stakeholders
Track and report on scope, schedule, throughput, and risk across active projects
Identify process-improvement opportunities and help standardize PMO/BA practices
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a business analyst, project coordinator, or similar role in a software/technology environment
xhqgsiq Experience gathering and documenting requirements and writing user stories/acceptance criteria
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (or equivalent project/documentation tools)
Experience coordinating delivery in Agile/Scrum or hybrid environments
Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
Comfortable working with technical teams and translating between business and technical language
Preferred Qualifications
CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAPM, PMP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Experience in fintech, payment processing, or healthcare/regulated industries
Familiarity with PCI-DSS and/or SOC 2 compliance and audit-evidence coordination
Basic SQL or comfort reading data/reports (e.g., Tableau dashboards)
Experience coordinating client-facing implementations or onboarding
Familiarity with software delivery on AWS and CI/CD concepts
