This role operates with a general manager mindset and is accountable for revenue growth, portfolio direction, channel strategy, and margin performance across global markets.

The role leads go-to-market strategy across distributor, direct sales, and eCommerce channels; drives growth from the existing genomic sequencing and sample preparation product lines; identifies new product development opportunities; and partners closely with Sales and Operations to ensure profitable, reliable scale.

Own commercial performance and growth strategy for the EdgeBio and MRC portfolios.

Develop and execute multi-year growth plans by segment, geography, and channel, with accountability for high single- or double-digit revenue growth.

Identify expansion opportunities and prioritize investment across the genomic sequencing and sample preparation product lines.

Go-to-Market & Channel Strategy

Define and lead go-to-market strategy across distributor, direct, and digital channels for EdgeBio and MRC.

Establish clear positioning, value propositions, and execution priorities by region and customer segment.

Partner with Sales through dotted-line influence to drive adoption, cross-sell, and customer penetration across the cell and molecular biology customer base.

Own portfolio lifecycle management for EdgeBio and MRC, including rationalization, repositioning, and investment decisions.

Drive incremental revenue from existing products through improved segmentation, pricing, packaging, and applications; manage and expand value-added services.

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new product development and line-extension opportunities in genomic sequencing and nucleic acid sample preparation, aligned to customer needs.

Maintain deep technical fluency in genomic sequencing or sample preparation workflows to guide product and market decisions credibly with customers, R&D, and Sales.

Operations, Margin & Supply Partnership

Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality to manage margin performance across both portfolios.

Ensure supply continuity, inventory health, and risk mitigation for the EdgeBio and MRC product lines.

Balance growth objectives with operational realities to deliver sustainable profitability.

Influence cross-functional teams and commercial organizations without direct authority.

Serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert for the EdgeBio and MRC business area.

Communicate strategy, performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership, including the VP of Global Marketing & OEM.
