Business Banking Relationship ManagerStock Yards Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYBT), parent company of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company, with offices in Louisville, Central, Eastern and Northern Kentucky, as well as the Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio metropolitan markets.FLSA Status: ExemptDepartment: Business BankingHours of Operation: Full-Time (flexible start time), approx. 45 hours per weekGeneral Job Summary: Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned goals (in Loan Production and Deposit Growth) through outside calling activities and relationship building of potential and existing business customers. The Business Banking Relationship Manager is also responsible for contributing to the profitability and growth of SYB Retail/Business Banking by building, developing, expanding client relationships with Business customers (defined as companies with annual revenues of up to $5 million), and serving Business Banking customers in a highly consultative, needs-based manner.Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and utilize formal calling plans to target new business and expand existing Business Banking Clients (75%)Perform Credit analysis and portfolio management for assigned portfolio of business banking relationships for new and existing clientsAs part of portfolio management, maintain credit quality and process renewals and past dues in a timely mannerServe as the Business Banking "expert" for assigned Branch Managers located within an assigned territoryCreate a partnership with Branch Managers to build and expand relationships with the area businessesAssist with analyzing business financial statements, identifying strengths and weaknesses of loan requestsOther Functions:Actively cross-sell appropriate SYB Banking products to new and existing customersWorking Conditions:Office setting, but much time spent traveling between assigned branches and potential customer places of businessMinimum Job Requirements:Education: College degree required (preferably in area of business, finance, or accounting)Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a banking relationship manager type role requiredSpecific Skills:Strong sales, credit underwriting, relationship management, business development, and analytical skills requiredUnderstand and articulate Business Banking strategies and philosophyThorough level of lending skills requiredPhysical requirements:Primarily sedentary work performed in an office environmentAbility to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computerFrequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipmentAbility to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with clients, team members, and vendors via phone, video, and in personVisual acuity sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents, and financial dataOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reachingAbility to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies)Benefits:401(K) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer/Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsFlexible Savings AccountsHealth Savings AccountsBank paid Life/AD&D insuranceVoluntary Life/AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance Program
