Job Summary:
The Business Data Analyst partners with Regulatory and Compliance, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Data & Analytics teams to develop and maintain scalable reporting processes that support both regulatory requirements and business operations. This role translates regulatory and business requirements into structured reporting outputs, ensures data accuracy from source to submission, and supports operational performance reporting. The Analyst improves reporting efficiency through standardization and automation while strengthening audit readiness and reducing compliance risk.
Job Duties
Manage and deliver required state and federal regulatory reports within established timelines
Interpret legislative and regulatory requirements and translate them into reporting specifications
Gather, validate, and reconcile data required for regulatory submissions
Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on reporting requirements
Support audits, inquiries, and regulatory responses with required documentation and analysis
Maintain documentation of filings, methodologies, and supporting data
Produce recurring business reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
Analyze client performance, trends, and utilization patterns
Support Operations through data preparation, analysis, and reporting inputs
Build and document repeatable, scalable reporting processes
Automate manual reporting processes in partnership with Data & Analytics
Ensure data integrity, traceability, and auditability from source to output
Perform data validation and reconciliation across systems and reports
Identify and implement improvements to reporting accuracy and efficiency
