As a Business Development Director you can expect to...

Drive new business growth by positioning HSO's Microsoft-based solutions and services to Professional Services organizations through consultative selling and relationship development.

Own the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.

Lead introductory and executive-level client conversations, helping prospects identify business challenges and aligning HSO's capabilities to their strategic objectives.

Develop and execute targeted account strategies and sales plays to expand market presence and generate new opportunities within the Professional Services sector.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, leveraging industry expertise and Microsoft ecosystem knowledge to establish credibility and trust.

Collaborate closely with delivery, pre-sales, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client requirements and business outcomes.

Support response development for RFPs, proposals, and client presentations by applying Microsoft business applications expertise and consultative sales methodologies.

Partner with Marketing and Business Development teams to develop lead generation campaigns, target vertical markets, and increase pipeline generation.

Proactively identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities through networking, industry events, referrals, digital outreach, and existing professional relationships.

Serve as a market advocate by staying informed on industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem and Professional Services industry.

Developing and executing measurable sales strategies focused on Microsoft-centric solutions and services.

Building trusted relationships with Professional Services clients and aligning business challenges with meaningful technology solutions.

Collaborating across sales, leadership, delivery, and technical teams to create successful client outcomes.

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through strategic networking, industry engagement, and targeted outreach.

Developing, managing, and advancing a healthy sales pipeline that consistently supports revenue growth objectives.

Leveraging Microsoft ecosystem knowledge and professional relationships to effectively position HSO solutions in competitive markets.

Managing complex sales cycles from qualification and solution scoping through negotiation and close.

Navigating challenging business conversations and creating solutions that address client needs while driving business results.

Staying current on industry trends, competitive developments, and innovations impacting Professional Services organizations.

Sound interesting? If so, you’ll have...

Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

4+ years of experience selling Microsoft Business Applications, Cloud solutions, or related technology services.

Prior consulting, business analyst, implementation, or product support experience related to Microsoft Business Solutions.

Previous experience selling enterprise technology solutions, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem.

An established network and client base within the Professional Services sector.

Proven success closing business application and technology sales opportunities as an Account Executive, Sales Representative, or similar client-facing sales role.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales processes, navigate challenging client situations, and apply effective pricing and negotiation strategies.

Experience developing new business, generating leads, and achieving sales targets in a consultative selling environment.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization while working collaboratively within a team environment.

Willingness and ability to travel 30% or more.
