Position Summary
Fenagh Engineering & Testing, LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to expand our client base and promote our comprehensive engineering, construction materials testing, special inspections, geotechnical, and environmental consulting services throughout Massachusetts and surrounding markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong business development skills, excellent relationship-building abilities, and a proven track record of generating new business opportunities within the construction, engineering, or related industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the construction, engineering, commercial development, municipal, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, project managers, and municipal agencies.
Generate leads through networking, industry events, client referrals, and proactive outreach efforts.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and service agreements to prospective clients.
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to develop customized solutions that meet client project requirements.
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and project kickoff.
Maintain regular contact with existing clients to identify additional project opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
Track sales activities, opportunities, and revenue forecasts using CRM software.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Represent Fenagh Engineering & Testing professionally at industry associations, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably within engineering consulting, construction services, materials testing, special inspections, environmental consulting, or related industries.
Strong understanding of construction and engineering project processes is highly desirable.
Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout New England as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing relationships within the Massachusetts construction and development markets.
Experience selling geotechnical, materials testing, environmental, engineering, or inspection services.
Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes.
