Job description

Business Development Manager – B2B Healthcare Partnerships

Location: Remote in Florida

Type: Full-Time

Industry: Healthcare | Dialysis | Long-Term Care | Post-Surgical Care | Geriatric Care | Home & Community-Based Businesses

About Herewith

Herewith, Inc. is transforming how healthcare organizations connect patients, older adults, and families with reliable caregiving support.

Our technology-enabled care platform helps healthcare organizations address an important challenge across the care continuum: what happens to patients outside the clinical setting.

We partner with healthcare organizations serving individuals who may require ongoing non‑medical caregiving, transportation, companionship, mobility assistance, help with daily activities, or transitional support.

Our primary B2B partnership areas include:

Dialysis & Chronic Care – Supporting dialysis providers and organizations caring for patients with chronic conditions who need assistance before and after treatment.

Long-Term Care & Senior Care – Partnering with skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior living organizations, PACE programs, home health organizations, and other aging‑services providers to supplement existing care resources.

Post-Surgical & Transitional Care – Working with hospitals, health systems, rehabilitation facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices to provide additional non‑medical support during recovery and transitions from facility to home.

Geriatric Care – Supporting geriatric practices, care‑management organizations, and healthcare organizations serving older adults who want to remain safely and independently at home.

About the Role

Herewith is seeking a Business Development Manager – Healthcare Partnerships to expand our B2B presence across dialysis, long‑term care, post‑acute care, geriatric care, and other healthcare sectors serving patients with ongoing caregiving needs.

This position will focus primarily on building institutional partnerships rather than individual consumer sales.

The ideal candidate understands healthcare relationship development and can engage clinical, operational, and executive decision‑makers to demonstrate how Herewith can complement existing healthcare services.

You will develop relationships with organizations including dialysis networks, hospitals, health systems, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, senior living organizations, home health agencies, geriatric practices, physician groups, care‑management companies, and other healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

B2B Healthcare Business Development

Develop and execute a healthcare‑focused business development strategy targeting organizations serving patients with ongoing or transitional caregiving needs.

Identify high‑potential regional and national healthcare partners and build a qualified B2B pipeline.

Develop partnership models that integrate Herewith’s caregiving solutions into existing clinical, discharge, chronic‑care, senior‑care, and patient‑support workflows.

Strategic Account Development

Identify and engage key decision‑makers, including:

Healthcare executives and administrators

Directors of Business Development

Dialysis and chronic‑care leadership

Hospital discharge and transitional‑care teams

Case managers and care coordinators

Skilled nursing and rehabilitation leadership

Senior living operators

Geriatric and physician practices

Population‑health leaders

Home health and community‑care organizations

Build relationships from initial outreach through contract development, implementation, and long‑term account growth.

Dialysis & Chronic Care Partnerships

Develop partnerships with dialysis centers and organizations managing chronic disease populations.

Identify opportunities where caregiving services can address practical barriers affecting continuity of care, including transportation coordination, appointment support, mobility assistance, companionship, and assistance with activities of daily living.

Post‑Surgical & Transitional Care Partnerships

Build relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, rehabilitation facilities, and physician practices.

Position Herewith as a caregiving resource that organizations can incorporate into discharge and recovery planning for appropriate patients transitioning home.

Develop partnership pathways for patients who may require temporary or extended assistance following hospitalization, surgery, or rehabilitation.

Long‑Term & Geriatric Care Partnerships

Expand relationships with skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, geriatric practices, home health organizations, and aging services providers.

Identify opportunities for Herewith to supplement existing services and help older adults maintain independence within their homes and communities.

Sales Pipeline & Revenue Growth

Own the B2B sales cycle from prospect identification through outreach, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.

Develop a disciplined pipeline segmented by healthcare vertical and partnership opportunity.

Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and partnership‑development goals.

Track key performance indicators including qualified leads, meetings, proposals, conversion rates, contracts, activated accounts, and revenue.

Market Intelligence

Monitor trends in dialysis, post‑acute care, aging services, home‑based care, chronic disease management, and healthcare workforce challenges.

Gather feedback from healthcare partners to help Herewith refine its services, technology, and partnership models.

Represent Herewith at healthcare conferences, industry meetings, networking events, and strategic partnership discussions.

Experience

3–5+ years of experience in healthcare business development, healthcare sales, strategic partnerships, account management, or a related field.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:

Dialysis or Renal Care

Long‑term care

Skilled nursing

Post‑acute or transitional care

Hospital or health‑system partnerships

Geriatric care

Home health or home care

Senior living

Population health

Chronic disease management

Healthcare technology

Demonstrated experience developing B2B relationships and moving opportunities through a structured sales pipeline.

Skills

Excellent executive communication and relationship‑building abilities.

Strong consultative‑selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to understand healthcare organizations' operational challenges and translate them into partnership opportunities.

Experience working with CRM platforms and using pipeline data to guide business‑development decisions.

Ability to communicate effectively with both clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders.

Who Will Succeed in This Role

You are a strategic relationship builder who understands that healthcare business development is more than selling a service.

You can identify gaps across the patient journey and build partnerships that create value for healthcare organizations, patients, caregivers, and families.

You are comfortable developing relationships with healthcare executives while also understanding the practical challenges faced by care coordinators, discharge teams, providers, patients, and families.

You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are motivated by building new healthcare partnerships from the ground up.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary

Uncapped commission potential

Comprehensive health benefits with paid time off

Remote work environment

Opportunity to build and lead a growing B2B healthcare partnership portfolio

Ability to directly influence Herewith's expansion into major healthcare markets

Why Herewith

The healthcare system increasingly recognizes that successful care does not end when a patient leaves a hospital, dialysis center, rehabilitation facility, or physician's office.

Older adults and individuals managing chronic illnesses frequently need practical support between healthcare encounters.

Herewith is building the infrastructure to help bridge that gap.

Through our mobile and web-based platform, healthcare organizations can connect patients and families with local caregiving support designed to complement—not replace—clinical care.

For our healthcare partners, this creates an opportunity to extend support beyond traditional healthcare settings.

For patients and families, it provides greater flexibility in finding assistance when and where they need it.
