Business Development Manager / Account ExecutivePanhandle Getaways is proud to be recognized as one of the Top 50 Vacation Rental Property Management Companies in the World by Rentals United. Managing over 900 short-term vacation rental properties along the Florida Panhandle, we deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong relationships with our homeowners.Position SummaryWe're seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager / Account Executive to grow our vacation rental portfolio across Destin, 30A, and the Forgotten Coast. This is a unique opportunity to step into a large, high-value territory and represent an established, trusted brand in the market. You are not starting from scratch; you are selling behind a company with strong brand recognition, proven results, and an existing footprint across the Panhandle. At the same time, this role offers the excitement of building something new. As a foundational member of the business development team, you will help shape how we acquire new properties, develop relationships in the market, and scale our portfolio. If you're entrepreneurial, motivated by results, and excited by both autonomy and impact, this role offers significant upside.Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Owner AcquisitionIdentify and pursue new vacation rental property owners and investment opportunitiesProspect through real estate agents, brokers, builders, investors, and existing short-term rental ownersConduct outbound outreach via calls, email, direct mail, networking events, and in-person meetingsFollow up with inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and partnershipsDesign and execute targeted email campaigns to engage prospective property ownersMaintain a strong presence at local events, festivals, and networking opportunitiesSales & Pipeline ManagementPresent property management solutions, revenue projections, and performance strategiesEducate homeowners on how to maximize rental income, occupancy, and long-term asset valueGuide owners through the management agreement and onboarding processBuild and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking all activity and follow-upsOwn the full sales lifecycle from first touch to signed contractWork closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations teamsEnsure a seamless transition from signed deal to property onboarding and launchMarket Development & Relationship BuildingBuild long-term relationships with real estate agents, developers, investors, HOA communities, and second-home ownersEstablish yourself as a local expert in vacation rental managementRequired Qualifications2+ years of sales, business development, or account executive experienceProven ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close dealsStrong networking and relationship-building skillsExperience in real estate, hospitality, or vacation rentalsWhat's Great About Working with UsLocally owned company with strong community rootsManage one of the largest vacation rental portfolios in the area (900+ homes)Competitive pay with growth opportunities & performance bonusesFull Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement Account with generous 401(k) matchReal mentorship from seasoned pros in the vacation rental spaceA genuinely fun and supportive team that is constantly improving while celebrating the winsOn Target Earnings - $105k with uncapped commissions
