Business Development RepresentativeBauer's Intelligent Transportation is searching for an experienced Business Development Representative to help us keep growing. The job relies heavily on the ability to communicate over the phone and in person. Having strong communication and solid interpersonal skills. This role is related to the sales department of a company to seek out and build new business by starting relationships with people in our target market; and ensure after-sale service satisfaction.If you are dedicated and ambitious, Bauer's is an excellent place to grow your career.Description of Responsibilities:Partner with sales team to create contract winning proposals for current and prospective clientBrainstorming and executing new strategies to attract our target marketIdentify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business needsCreate proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company's serviceBuilding long-term trusting relationships with clientsReport to the Manager of the department on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales resultsEnsure all pertinent aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete and documentedIdentify and pursue new and repeat business through prospecting calls, visits, site tours, lunches, and networking eventsDevelop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategiesOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, accounting, or related field2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service role in the transportation industryProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power PointInnovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clientsTrack record of achieving sales quotesStrong writing, editing, organizational, and time management skills are requiredAbility to prioritizing different projects and stay on scheduleBenefits:401(k) - MatchingMedical coverageDental coverageVisionPaid time offLife & AD&D InsuranceBauer's Intelligent Transportation is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
