About the Role
The Business Development Representative will be a outbound sales professional responsible for building business-to-business pipeline. This is a true hunter role responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and setting meetings for the technical team at Gaynes. The role is ideal for a sales professional who still thrives in the field, embraces challenges, and desires being rewarded for strong performance. Strong candidates will have a desire to originate new business, develop relationships, operate in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prospecting: develop a deep understanding of Gaynes’s business and service offering to identify companies and contacts that may be potential clients for Gaynes
Qualifying: establish connections, build relationships, and get an understanding for the needs of the prospective customer to cultivate a pipeline of customers and projects that Gaynes can serve
Setting Meetings: once qualified and you have identified that a customer has a project, set a meeting for our technical team to go over the specifications and close the deal
Building Pipeline: effectively work within a CRM and utilize technology tools to manage the pipeline, conduct outbound outreach at scale, and report on weekly KPIs
Qualifications
2-7 years of outbound B2B sales experience
Track record of exceeding quota by utilizing multi-channel outreach
Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and succeed as a self-starter
Strong communication skills and the ability to sell into Fortune 500 accounts
Required Skills
Activity metrics (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages) to surface and establish communication with 100+ prospects per week
Setting 10+ meetings with qualified leads per month
Managing relationships with qualified prospects and customers to support building a pipeline
