This is a true sales and hunting role focused on outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and securing new client partnerships. The ideal candidate is competitive, resilient, goal-oriented, and energized by building relationships and winning new business.
Business Development Representative Responsibilities
Drive new business development through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social selling.
Identify, engage, and secure new client partnerships for Hunter’s STEM-focused recruiting services.
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand client hiring challenges and workforce needs.
Meet and exceed sales activity and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline updates, and client records.
Partner closely with Recruiting and Account Management teams to support successful delivery and client growth.
Work with Operations to prepare and finalize client agreements.
Communicate business development activity, market feedback, and wins to leadership.
Business Development Representative Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or outbound prospecting environments.
Strong interest in a true hunting role focused on new business acquisition.
Comfortable with cold outreach, relationship development, and closing new opportunities.
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Competitive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and motivation to exceed goals.
Ability to handle rejection, stay resilient, and maintain consistent outreach activity.
Strong technological aptitude and CRM proficiency preferred. xzgxqkn
