Business Development Representative (Commercial Roofing)HCS is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Business Development Representative in Centreville, VA! The Business Development Representative will be responsible for managing and growing partnerships, creating opportunities, and adding strategic value with new and existing clients. Ideal candidates will understand the customer's demands, determine how to meet those demands and generate sales for the company. Please apply here or directly on our website today!Responsibilities:Identify, build and develop new opportunitiesContinually build relationships and business opportunities with both new and existing customers to ensure long term relationshipsQualify opportunities by assessing potential customer resources and obtain capital budget availabilityCreate solutions to customer problems by creating good/better/best scenariosCollaborate with multiple departments on a continual basisRelay accurate and detailed information regarding opportunities to both the Service and Estimating departments to ensure competitive quotes are generatedPerform effective planning, organization and decision making to attain desirable profit-making resultsPerform job site and office visits with customers as required to assist with determining options or alternatives, specific project requirements and to maintain long term customer relationshipsMaintain client communication to ensure customer satisfaction with projects and serviceGather market data (example: successful competitor bids, new construction information, etc.)Submit sales activity reports, including lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, to manager on a regular basisRequirements:Bachelor's degree (preferred)5+ years business development experienceConstruction industry experienceAbility to work with within a team, with upper management, and with subordinatesStrong client relations skills are a must to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat businessEffective problem-solving skills, and ability to make time sensitive decisions
