The Role
We operate in a focused, high-impact environment. Our optical networking solutions are deployed in mission-critical networks, and we are actively scaling our outbound sales and marketing engine.
What You Will Do
Maintain consistent weekly and monthly activity rhythms—pacing toward targets for lead touchpoints, connected conversations, and qualified discovery meetings.
Identify, research, and prospect potential customers within defined target verticals and ICP.
Research and build targeted account lists, identifying key buyers and influencers within prospective organizations.
Engage and qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations to assess fit, need, and buying potential.
Schedule qualified discovery meetings for account executives and other sales team members.
Develop and nurture relationships with prospective customers to progress them through the top of the sales/marketing funnel.
Continuously refine outreach messaging and positioning based on market feedback, competitive insights, and customer needs.
Accurately document activities, lead status, and pipeline progression within the CRM, and provide regular reports on key performance metrics.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align on targeting, messaging, and lead generation strategies.
Build and maintain strong product, market, and competitive knowledge, staying informed on relevant industry trends.
Complete related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
Two or more years of inside sales experience, business development, or relevant customer-facing experience. Early-career candidates with exceptional personal discipline, organization, and high agency are strongly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated personal operational discipline: ability to structure your own day, protect outreach time blocks, and maintain focus without step-by-step supervision.
Knowledge of the broadband market or target verticals like cloud, ISP, or education. Knowledge of Layer 1 optical networking systems a plus.
High standards for organization and data accuracy as well as comfort using or learning CRM software.
Demonstrated ability to receive and apply feedback, and continuously improve performance.
Strong competitive drive for success in reaching your goals.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability and interest to work on-site in the Redmond office on a daily basis.
Salary Range
Base wage is $29.00 – $34.00 per hour ($60,320 – $70,720 annualized equivalent based on 40 hours/week).This role is eligible for performance-based milestone incentives plus uncapped discretionary bonuses tied to performance and influenced deals.
