Job description

About Us

We are a high‑tech company specializing in measurement and control technologies deeply integrated with AI. We focus on developing flexible manufacturing platforms and applications for both industrial and consumer markets.

Headquartered in China, we have built an R&D and manufacturing system for consumer C2M (Consumer-to-Manufacturer) creative products, enabling automatic design and personalized on-demand production directly from users to manufacturing equipment.

Our North American subsidiary in Saratoga (Silicon Valley) has been established for years and is dedicated to industrial applications. As we expand into the consumer sector, we are planning to set up a new subsidiary in Los Angeles and are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Business Director to lead our market development in the region.

Position Overview

As the Business Director for the North American market, you will play a pivotal role in building our business from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing our distributor and operator network, driving market‑entry strategy, and establishing scalable business growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to build and manage a high‑performing commercial team, and the capability to form strategic partnerships that accelerate revenue and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy, sales forecasts, and budget for the North American market.

Identify, evaluate, and secure key distributors, regional operators, and strategic partners.

Lead and inspire an early‑stage commercial team (including upcoming hires such as Business Representatives); set clear goals and provide consistent coaching.

Gain deep insights into customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive trends to support product iteration and strategic decision‑making for headquarters.

Lead major business negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Build and maintain strong relationships with industry KOLs, associations, and major potential clients.

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events to enhance brand visibility in the North American market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 8 years of B2B sales or business development experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in building channels or distributor networks in the North American market; familiarity with consumer electronics, creative industries, manufacturing, or technology equipment is a strong plus.

Deep understanding of C2M models, digital manufacturing (e.g., 3D printing), or creative‑tech industries.

Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross‑cultural teams effectively.

Strong strategic thinking, negotiation ability, and problem‑solving capability.

Results‑driven and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What We Offer

Competitive compensation package (base salary + performance bonus + stock options).

Opportunity to become a founding member of our North America consumer business team with significant career growth potential.

A dynamic, creative, and globally collaborative work environment.
