What we're looking for:

We are looking for a Business Manager, Finance & Accounting with 5+ years of experience to be a safe pair of hands running the finances at Manufacturing, a precision machine shop wholly owned by Ironstead, during an aggressive growth push. You'll be a hands-on finance owner who keeps the shop well-funded, keeps spending under control, and helps leadership decide where capital should go as the business scales.

What will you be doing?

Own the client’s day-to-day finances: financial reporting, month-end close, journal entries, cash management, wires, and vendor payments

Lead FP&A: budgets, forecasts, and tracking actuals against plan so the company never runs out of cash during rapid growth

Help the GM weigh capital allocation and capex decisions, like equipment and hiring, against growth targets

Work closely with the manufacturing team to keep them well-resourced and to understand job costs and margins

Report to the GM with a dotted line to the Head of Finance, working with an automated finance stack (Pilot, Ramp)

Key Requirements

5+ years of solid finance or accounting experience (accounting, FP&A, banking, or PE backgrounds all considered)

Hands-on experience with financial reporting, closes, and cash management, plus the strategic judgment to guide capital allocation

Trained at a top firm (Big 4 such as Deloitte or PwC, RSM, or Fortune 100 FP&A) is strongly preferred over SMB-only backgrounds; CPA is ideal but not required

US citizenship required

Able to work on-site in the Denver, CO area (relocation available)

Worksite address

denver, CO, 80285, US
