Job description
Business Lending Specialist Sr.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with a focus on business lending. This role involves evaluating loan applications, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives business development activity across a specific geography working with external referral sources as well as internal retail partners
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Evaluate and process business loan applications, including analyzing financial statements and credit reports.
Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the loan application and approval process.
Take on leadership roles on team initiatives and/or mentoring roles with both retail and business banking partners.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business banking business development, credit and lending experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess creditworthiness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present in front of clients and COIs.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
