Contract Duration: 12 Months + extensions/conversion
Seeking a Technical Business Systems Consultant to lead Technical Portfolio Management for our infrastructure organization. In this role, you will own the end-to-end Statement of Work (SOW) process, drive capacity planning and intake, and manage infrastructure vendor budgets and forecasting. You will act as a key liaison between the manager's team and executive stakeholders, translating complex technical and financial data into clear, decision-ready materials.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in portfolio/program management within an infrastructure or IT organization.
Proven ability to manage SOWs, vendor relationships, and infrastructure budgets.
Experience with capacity planning, intake processes, and change management.
Hands-on proficiency with Jira (including time tracking) and financial forecasting tools.
Excellent executive presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint and SharePoint expertise.
Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage the full Statement of Work (SOW) lifecycle for infrastructure and infrastructure vendors, including scoping, budgeting, and tracking time against SOW commitments.
Lead Technical Portfolio Management activities, including capacity planning, intake calls, and change management across the portfolio.
Maintain and reconcile time tracking within the Jira time system to ensure accurate resource allocation and reporting.
Support budget and forecast planning, providing visibility into spend, pipeline, and variance for infrastructure initiatives.
Prepare executive-level deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations and SharePoint sites, to communicate portfolio status, forecasts, and decisions.
Partner effectively with the manager's team and other executives, demonstrating the confidence and "backbone" to challenge assumptions, raise risks, and drive alignment.
