ABOUT EL CORTEZ:
Located in the heart of Fremont east entertainment district, El Cortez opened in 1941 and was the first major resort in Downtown Las Vegas. We are proud to be listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. We are a family-run and operated casino that welcomes a diverse group of employees with the goal of providing excellent customer service to our guests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21+
Pass pre-employment (urine) drug and alcohol test
Must be available to work any shift when necessary, including weekends & holidays
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
Friendly demeanor
Ability to stand for a long time and move quickly
A dedication to teamwork
Attention to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary
Maintains clean and sanitary work areas
Clean tables or counters after xhqgsiq patrons have finished dining
Other tasks and duties as assigned
