Job description
We’re looking for a Buyer to join a growing manufacturing company in Coconut Creek. This is a hands-on role focused on purchasing ingredients and packaging materials, managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory, and ensuring production has the materials it needs.
The ideal candidate has a strong purchasing foundation, enjoys working with data, and can identify opportunities to improve pricing, inventory levels, and purchasing processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on more ownership and grow into a larger purchasing role over time.
What You’ll Do
Manage purchase orders and coordinate deliveries
Monitor inventory levels and production needs
Analyze pricing, purchasing trends, and opportunities for cost savings
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors
Resolve shortages, delivery issues, and pricing discrepancies
Partner closely with production and operations
Help improve purchasing and inventory processes
What We’re Looking For
Purchasing, procurement, or buying experience
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Experience working with inventory and suppliers
Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
Food manufacturing or packaging experience is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Someone motivated to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibility
