Job DescriptionJob Location - Buyer

Responsibilities
\ N Run daily MRP reports and purchase materials in support of production schedule for all purchasing parts other than Outside Processing and Supporting Components per procedure.
\ N Manage your suppliers to assure on time delivery and consistent quality.
\ N Negotiate with your suppliers to ensure optimal pricing.
\ N Negotiate Terms with your suppliers.
\ N Source and certify new suppliers with the assistance of the Procurement Agent.
\ N Expedite delayed orders.
\ N Resolve issues related to inventory returns, and replacements.
\ N Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements.
\ N Purchasing requisition items per procedure.
\ N Work with accounting tocorrectly use accurate general ledger accounts for non-inventory purchases.
\ N Keeps department reports updated.
\ N Other duties as required.
\ N
Working Hours - 7.30am to 4pm - Monday to Friday
\ N

\ N - General knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
\ N - High School Diploma
