Job Opening – Travel COTA | Monterey County, CAJob Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Location: Monterey County, CA Duration: 13 Weeks – Potential Extension Pay Rate: $46–$48/hr Schedule: Flexible – Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–SaturdayPosition SummarySeeking a passionate and adaptable Travel COTA to provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in a large skilled nursing facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence.ResponsibilitiesImplement occupational therapy treatment plans for short- and long-term residents.Provide patient-centered care focused on functional independence.Communicate with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.Complete accurate documentation in Net Health.Follow facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards.Manage time effectively in a dynamic SNF environment.RequirementsActive COTA licenseSNF experience preferredMentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of experienceStrong documentation and time-management skillsFlexible and collaborative approachBLS/BCLS certification requiredWillingness to work a flexible Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
