Job description
Saw Machine OperatorHadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics for aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes water jets, band saws, various CNC machines, and shears.As a Saw Machine Operator, you will be responsible for cutting aluminum, stainless steel, engineering grade plastic, and other alloys to meet customer specifications.Various Available Work Schedules (see below):Shift 1: Sunday-Monday from 4:00 am to 3:00 pm; Tuesday from 4:00 am to 3:00 pm, Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 2:00 amShift 2: Wednesday-Saturday from 4:00 am to 3:00 pmShift 3: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 3:00 pm to 2:00 amRole & Responsibilities:Operate manual and/or CNC machinery to accurately cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.Monitor machine operation for accuracy throughout the cutting processes.Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.Benefits:Competitive hourly pay + generous hourly production bonus ($2-$5+/hour)!!!Regular opportunities for cross-training, growth, and promotion from within with a long-stable, technologically advanced, and consistently growing companyMedical/dental/vision/STD & LTD insuranceFREE uniforms & PPEPaid vacation, personal time, and holidays, 401(k) match100% paid life and disability insuranceMinimum Requirements:Solid math skills, including measuring with fractions and decimalsAbility to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretchAbility to lift 50 lbs. repeatedlyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDetail oriented and able to multi-taskFamiliar with ERP systemsMinimum 18 years of ageMinority/Female/Disabled/Veterans.
