Cabinet AssemblerStaffing Inc. is partnered with a great company in Norton Shores, MI, who is looking for a great Cabinet Assembler. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate with a good eye for detail. Resolving problems and notifying the supervisor of deficiencies and issues regarding completion.Cabinet Assembler Benefits:Fun and friendly work environmentTemp to hire opportunityBenefits available when hired into the companyCabinet Assembler Responsibilities:Responsible for the proper stacking, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location.Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.Examine connections for correct fitFasten parts and subassemblies according to design specification and approved proceduresVerify specifications by measuring complete componentsResolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specificationsContinuous improvement, quality, and safety.Cabinet Assembler Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDKnowledge of cabinet materials, production processes, machines, hardware and assembly tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts when needed.Quick paced, while maintaining quality and safety standards.Good verbal and written communicationGood computer skillsAbility to accurately prepare documents, production sheets and other reports related to paperwork required by our procedures.Ability to apply principles of logical thinking of a wide range of practical problems.Work independently and make independent solutions.High-level of visual awarenessAbility to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs.Pass background check/drug screenGreat attendance and positive attitudeFlexible and team playerWork in a hot environmentWork overtime, weekends and/or holidaysStaffing Inc. - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in West Michigan.
