Plan out the sequence of cutting or shaping to be performed. Gather and assemble necessary cabinet parts by following paperwork specifications. Set up and operate machines, including power saws, shapers to cut and machine parts, as needed. Verify dimensions and check quality of parts and fit pieces to ensure adherence to specifications of cabinet during assembly process. Utilize basic hand tools. Work efficiently while paying attention to detail. Keep the work area clean and organized. Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment. Participate and contribute to a "Team" environment. Other duties as assigned.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: No required education or job experience. Ability to learn and retain on the job training. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English. Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following: Sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Stand for extended periods of time. Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds. Pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity. Exposure to high noise levels and requires wearing hearing protection in designated areas. Exposure to plant environment to include moving parts, fumes, dust. Safety glasses to be worn at all times.
