With operations across the U.S. and globally, we are committed to safety, innovation, and quality while building products our customers depend on every day.ResponsibilitiesAssemble wood cabinets from engineering drawings utilizing a variety of different tools and equipment. Installation and fabrication of cabinet components and hardware. Assist in training cabinet makers at all skill levels. Laminate cabinets and panels as needed. Meet all QA and QC standards for each task. Function with minimal amount of supervision. Close attention to detail. Meet standards of safety and 5S. Promote use and applications of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools as part of the culture. Be compliant with the rules of conduct and attendance per company handbook. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Qualifications/TrainingAbility to read, write comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English. Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devises. Familiar with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and router. Ability to use basic mathematics. Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. Production Floor Paint Booth.The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is $19.15 - $23.74. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role.
