PO Design Creation is hiring an experienced Millworker to join our fabrication shop in South Hackensack, NJ. In this role, you'll fabricate custom millwork and cabinetry to spec, with occasional on-site installation work. We're looking for someone who knows their way around shop machinery and takes pride in precise, high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate custom millwork and cabinetry from shop drawings and blueprints
* Operate and safely maintain shop machinery (table saws, panel saws, edgebanders, routers, and similar equipment)
* Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood and wood-composite materials to precise specifications
* Assist with occasional on-site installation of finished millwork
* Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
* Work with the shop team to meet production deadlines
* Maintain log of material and supplies on the shop to ensure continuous work flow
* Unload deliveries of supplies and material
Requirements
* Proven experience fabricating millwork or cabinetry in a shop environment
* Solid working knowledge of shop machinery and hand tools
* Ability to read and work from shop drawings/blueprints
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
* Ability to lift and move materials, and to travel occasionally to job sites for installation
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
