Technician For Cable And Harness AssemblySpace Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Technician for cable and harness assembly. This position includes communicating and providing feedback to engineering, interfacing with Stockroom and Manufacturing Specialists, and completing necessary workmanship training in crimp cable harnesses, hand soldering, visual inspecting of assemblies, potting of connectors, and cable specific testing and labeling. Occasional overtime conditions may be requested for this position.Required Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma, GED, or some higher educationAbility to see a project though from start to finishSelf-motivated, dependable, and detail orientedAbility to learn automated machine operationAbility to identify and work through problems that may ariseSkilled at hand soldering and reworking cable assembliesAbility to pass IPC and NASA training to space level qualityProficiency in Microsoft office products (i.e., Word, Excel)Comfortable with teamwork and communication within the teamMust be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. personSalary Range$34,000 - $68,000 Salary commensurate on education and relevant experienceThis range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
