Cactus Wellhead PositionThis is a Cactus Wellhead position, and is located in Bossier City, LA.Job Summary: Responsible for fabricating and repairing product using welding equipment.Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.Reviews layouts, prints or drawings in preparation for welding or cutting metal components.Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and/or rulers.Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding type material.Examines work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.Performs other duties as assigned or requested.Education, Training, Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Perform and pass a ASME/AWS weld test.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: NoneJob Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Knowledge of machine operationsRead and interpret Engineering drawingsStrong Math Skills/proficient ReadingExperience in planning and schedulingEffective communication skillsSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneDisclaimer: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this position.
