CAD/CAM TechnicianMicroDental Laboratories is a world-class, rapidly growing, global company with strong benefit packages and great long-term stability. We are looking for a determined, high energy, well-organized individual for the position of CAD/CAM Technician to join our ADL Dental Laboratory location in Louisville, Kentucky.Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.Our Company has the following to offer:Excellent compensation plan with benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, short/long term disability, 401(k), vacation and holidaysFlexible working hoursCareer advancement opportunitiesInvestments in the latest technologyExclusively focused in cosmetic, implant and digital design for fixed prosthodonticsResponsibilities:Ability to read, interpret, design and print dental restorations to client's specifications by utilizing dental CAD software programsPerform dental model digital scanning using 3Shape systemEnsure timely milling machine and other equipment maintenance, regularly loading and unloading of millsTroubleshoot machine repairs with outsourcing via phone and email, coordinating sending any needed repairs offsite with the OEM or repair vendorsPerform quality control of casesDownload and process Intraoral Scans.Assist in surgical guide production with nesting, digital printing, post-processing using ultrasonic cleaning, and curing equipment, grinding, and polishingAll other duties as assigned or as otherwise requiredQualifications:Previous working experience in a dental laboratory preferredUnderstanding of dental anatomy and dental lab terminologyAbility to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, 3Shape, and other internal software systems.Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorationsDetail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for correctionsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to sit for extended periods of timeHave a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environmentMilling center environment, computer-based workstation.
