Job description
CAD Technician
We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our Land Development team at our Overland Park location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include residential and commercial developments, schools, churches, hospitals, living centers, parks, athletic facilities, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and more.
Responsibilities:
Provide drafting support to engineers and designers for land development and municipal-related projects, including site planning, grading, streets, water, wastewater, and drainage.
Create drawings with input from designers and engineers.
Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings, as directed by designers and engineers.
Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
Requirements:
1-3+ years of experience with Autodesk products.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Experience in Civil 3D is preferred.
Experience in MicroStation and InRoads will be considered.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
Knowledge of local standards is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
