Job Summary:
Support kitchen personnel
Prepare 2 meals per shift
Set up and maintain salad bar
Keep items stocked
Assist with maintaining clean kitchen and dining area
Rotating role within cafeteria crew such as: Dish Washer, Steam Cook, Salad Prep, Baker, Cold Cut Prep, Truck Unloader and more
Location: Bloomington, IN
Position Type: Evaluation Hire
Pay: $15.00 / hr
Schedule : 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Qualifications: Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift, may also be bending, stooping, or squatting
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs
Exposure to cold temperatures and extreme heats
Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Must comply with quality standards
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Experience required: Cafeteria worker experience, extensive scratch cooking experience or commercial food experience preferred
