Job description
Food Service Worker - Part Time
Jerome Harrison Elementary School
Work Schedule: 4 hours per day, approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Salary: As specified in the Agreement between the North Branford Board of Education and the Local of AFSCME Council 4
Responsibilities:
Assist with quantity food preparation
Assist with daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions
Set-up and breakdown serving lines
Ability to work in a friendly manner with co-workers, manager and students
Must be able to lift and or move up to 40 pounds
May operate cash register POS system
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Previous experience with quantity food preparation and service
Previous food sanitation courses desirable
