Job description
Position Title: California - Cal/OSHA and Employment Litigation Associate
Salary Range: $170,000 -$270,000 / Year, DOE
Responsibilities
Dedicate 50%+ of practice to the Workplace Safety Practice Group
Handle employment litigation involving workplace safety and related employment matters
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents
Develop case strategy and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Manage matters throughout the litigation lifecycle and communicate with clients and partners
Collaborate across the firm and pursue matters aligned with your interests
Requirements
2+ years of employment litigation or OSHA experience
Cal/OSHA, federal OSHA, or workplace safety enforcement experience preferred
Hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions
California Bar admission and strong academic credentials
Excellent writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong judgment and teamwork
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
