Calender OperatorMUST HAVE PREVIOUS CALENDER EXPERIENCEPosition Overview: Responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that processes rubber or plastic materials through heated rollers to achieve specified thickness, shape, and finish. Duties include machine setup, process monitoring, adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and adjust calender machinery per product specsFeed and monitor materials to ensure consistent quality and thicknessInspect finished products and make necessary adjustmentsTroubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize downtimePerform routine maintenance and cleaningFollow all safety protocols and proceduresMaintain accurate production recordsHelp train new operatorsPrepare and blend materials for processingQualifications:Experience with calender or similar machines preferredStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of material propertiesDetail-oriented and quality-focusedPhysically able to perform manual tasksStrong problem-solving and communication skillsSafety-minded and team-orientedAble to work in a dirty environment and in a physical positionAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Able to work in a non-climate controlled environmentBenefits:Company Benefits: 80 hours of vacation (prorated by start date)Holiday pay for major federal holidaysAnnual increases with reviewsHealth Benefits package including, medical, dental, and visionLife InsuranceShort Term Disability10% Profit sharing program401(K) with company 100% matchingScholarship opportunities and tuition reimbursementsSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftOvertimeWeekends as neededEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
