Call for Teaching Artists - West African Dance
Company: Accent Dance NYC Compensation: $100/class
Accent Dance NYC seeks experienced teaching artists who are strong in teaching West African Dancefor upcoming teaching opportunities during the 2026/7 school year that will include residencies, master classes, and workshops throughout the city.
Accent Dance NYC was founded to celebrate multiculturalism through dance. We prioritize hiring artists who reflect the communities we serve. BIPOC artists are especially encouraged to apply, although all are welcome.
If chosen, written curriculum outline/ lesson plans will be required. Anyone chosen will need to be fingerprinted by the NYC DoE, if you are not already.
