Job description
Clerical Support PositionAssist administration by providing clerical support through data input, providing reports, and maintaining accurate records. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.QualificationsEducation/Certification/LicensureHigh School diploma or GEDSpecial Knowledge/SkillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting/bookkeeping systemsStrong organizational skillsExperienceMinimum of 2 years general office experience, including using a computerMajor Responsibilities and DutiesInput data on student systems as requested by administrative staff or head counselor.Input STAAR data into computer and keep STAAR no-mastery data current.Be responsible for PEIMS data accuracy.Maintain demographic files on students.Be accountable for accuracy of all required enrollment forms.Verify accuracy of all student data.Deal professionally with highly confidential student and teacher information.Responsible for implementation and printing the following: progress reports, student rosters, grade sheets, student report cards, demographic labels, attendance reports, eligibility reports, class rosters, error reports, failure reports.Responsible for maintaining auditable documents and ensuring all special programs coordinators have verified and approved data.Attend workshops/updates.Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.Working ConditionsMental DemandsConcentration while working on reports; daily interpretive skills; ability to maintain emotional control under stressPhysical Demands/Environmental FactorsProlonged sitting and use of computer; repetitive hand motionsTerms: 197 daysPay Grade: Para 4
