Campus Safety Team MemberFull time: Monday-Friday 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)Our Campus Safety team is responsible for the safety and security of all people and property at Seabury. They are the first to respond to a call for assistance and provide calm and supportive help whenever needed. Ideal candidates will deliver outstanding customer service, have strong communication skills and sensitivity to older adults. Valid CT driver's license required. Minimum of 1+ years' experience in security or public emergency services is preferred.Shift Differentials: 2nd shift: +$0.50/hr 3rd shift: +$1.00/hr Weekends: +$1.00/hrEssential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:Help to conduct Flag Checks and perform wellness checks as neededMaintain the medical response bags and inventory of emergency medical response supplies and oxygen tanksFollow all applicable statutes, regulations and procedures for the clean-up and disposition of hazardous medical waste during an emergency medical response incidentReport identified deficiencies in resident medical files and records to appropriate department supervisorsRespond to and investigate all fire alarms, disasters or other emergency incidents and provides necessary supportRespond to and investigate all personal and emergency aid alarmsRespond to all medical assist calls and act according to the specific needs as trainedControl access to the facility through an established access control management system to assess those with a legitimate need to gain entry to the facility, including residents, employees, visitors, resident guests, vendors and contractorsPatrol property and site buildings regularly, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security risks, mechanical problems and unauthorized personsManage vehicular and pedestrian traffic direction and control as neededAll employees receive:Performance Bonuses/Annual Increases if applicablePayActiv Program!
